Wouldn’t it be great to live your life in reverse? That would enable you to benefit from all your life experiences. While I can’t make that happen, I can certainly share valuable lessons and encourage you to make the most of them. Please take 10 minutes to read this. It’ll blow your mind …
Enjoy the moment. You won’t have it again. When you account for every second, you miss precious moments.
Character is the fingerprint of your soul. Measure a person’s worth by their character not their possessions.
Begin each day’s journey with a 10-minute walk within your soul. Don’t just eat food — feed your mind, body, and soul.
Do you define success as having more or being more? Forget your to-do list and create a to-be list.
Choices are easy. The tough part is living with them. You have the freedom to choose, but you’re not free from the consequences of those choices.
Make your priorities a priority. If you don’t make things that matter a priority, you’re bound to spend time on things that don’t.
Some people are too busy to find ways to save time. Saying “no” to one idea enables you to say “yes” to another.
Start doing more by doing less. Subtracting from your list of priorities is as important as adding to it.
Money should never become the cornerstone of your life, nor should it define you as a person. Many people are actually poor because the only thing they have is money.
Invest in relationships to avoid time repairing them. It takes a lot more effort to rebuild trust than to establish it from the start. (Keep that in mind.)
Love doesn’t have an expiration date. Never stop courting your spouse.
Trust is like blood pressure. It’s silent, vital to good health, and if abused, it can be deadly. Trust takes a long time to develop but can be destroyed by a single action.
Winning doesn’t have to be at someone’s expense. Never win at the expense of a relationship.
Opponents don’t have to be enemies. Win-win is a no-lose opportunity.
Your mindset matters more than you think. Paradise is not a place, it’s a state of mind.
Don’t worry about things that you can’t do anything about. According to one study, more than 91% of the things you worry about never come to pass.
Never let doubters stop you. Impossible means you just didn’t do it yet.
Someone’s good fortune is not your misfortune. People don’t hurt you by being successful; you hurt yourself by being envious of them.
It can’t be done for you; it must be done by you. You can’t live an unhealthy lifestyle and expect a healthy outcome.
It takes many years to become an overnight success. When you work your tail off for something, it isn’t luck.
When you compete with yourself, you both win. Make each today better than yesterday.
Mediocrity is a choice. I hope you choose to say “NO!” We don’t gain anything by lowering the bar so that everyone can clear it.
Credibility says everything about you. If you try to be good at everything, you’ll end up being mediocre at everything.
How you handle success says a lot about you. The more you try to impress someone, the less impressive it becomes.
When someone asks you who you’re trying to impress, your answer should always be “myself.” Set high standards, remain true to your values, listen to your conscience, and do yourself proud.
Change is good — if it’s in the right direction. If you’re running in the wrong direction speed doesn’t matter.
People don’t resist change; they resist being changed. People change only when change is their choice.
You may not have the control to lengthen your life, but you can do much to deepen it. It only takes one person to change a life — and that person may as well be you.
Live the way you want to be remembered. You may not be able to change the world, but you can change the world around you.
Moments, rather than possessions, are the true treasures of life. Be a collector of moments, not things.
A meaningful life isn’t measured by what you accumulate, but by what you give to others. What you have is momentary, who you are is forever.
Having kids is not the same as being a parent. Our future is dependent on our kids. And the future of your children is dependent on you.
People look up to you. Don’t let them down. If you set a poor example for your children, you’ll teach them to be just like you.
You don’t have to say a word, because your actions speak volumes for you. Words express what’s on your mind, but your actions say what’s in your heart.
Knowing what’s right isn’t as important as doing what’s right. Once you compromise your integrity, you make it easier to give in to temptation the next time.
Some folks who prescribe tolerance should take their own medicine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion…and no one should force theirs on others.
Leave the past behind. Forgiving doesn’t mean forgetting, nor does it mean approving of what someone did. It just means that you’re letting go of the anger toward that person or situation.
You don’t need a special occasion to say thank you. A gravesite is the last place you should tell someone how much you care.
There’s more to life than increasing its speed. Happiness is a result of balance rather than intensity.
Life is like playing musical chairs — you never know when the music will stop. Don’t wait a lifetime to satisfy your needs or you may live to regret it one day.
Parents give you life. Only you can give it meaning. Everyone was put on this earth for a reason…what’s yours?

The quote that has helped me is this by
W Clement Stone
When you wake up in the morning, start with the phrase, ‘Do it now, do it now, do it now, do it now,’ “

Hi Ken
That’s such an important lesson.
As Napoleon Hill, the American author said, “Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.”
Thanks for taking the time to write.
